CHARGE is the umbrella group uniting residents’ groups across Camden affected by HS2.
We're working hard to make sure that HS2 does less damage to our communities and to push HS2 to help people cope with its effects.
CHARGE is the Camden HS2 Association of Residents’ Groups for Engagement.
If you have any problems with HS2, please email or freephone
08081 434 434. Please make sure you ask them to treat it as a formal complaint and that you force them to give you a formal complaint number, to make sure they pay attention. If you are not happy with the response, please ask them to escalate it, and keep asking them to escalate it (to the CEO and then the Complaints Commissioner). Please copy your CHARGE rep on the complaint if you like.
The Spring 2020 CHARGE newsletter is now out. HS2 has been making very slow progress. You can also read the Spring 2019 newsletter , the Spring 2018 newsletter, the December, November, October 2017 newsletters, and the January/February 2018 newsletter. Subscribe for free newsletters below.
Please use the form below to send us examples of amusing or disturbing events involving HS2.
CHARGE AT A GLANCE
We’re engaging with HS2 on the effects of construction – noise, congestion, pollution, trees, air quality and subsidence.
We’re also pushing to make sure that the design of the new HS2 station takes account of the needs of the existing long-standing communities.
