CHARGE
CHARGE
CHARGE is the umbrella group uniting residents’ groups across Camden affected by HS2.
We're working hard to make sure that HS2 does less damage to our communities and to push HS2 to help people cope with its effects.
CHARGE is the Camden HS2 Association of Residents’ Groups for Engagement.
If you have any problems with HS2, please email HS2enquiries@hs2.org.uk or freephone
08081 434 434. Please make sure you ask them to treat it as a formal complaint and that you force them to give you a formal complaint number, to make sure they pay attention. If you are not happy with the response, please ask them to escalate it, and keep asking them to escalate it (to the CEO and then the Complaints Commissioner). Please copy your CHARGE rep on the complaint if you like.

CHARGE AT A GLANCE
We’re engaging with HS2 on the effects of construction – noise, congestion, pollution, trees, air quality and subsidence.
We’re also pushing to make sure that the design of the new HS2 station takes account of the needs of the existing long-standing communities.
St James’s Gardens – vital park space for the community – have now been closed
